Fresh Start!

Hello you lovely lot!

I'm sure you've all wondered where I have been, or why I have been quiet over the last few months..

In all honesty I needed time to myself, after a rough start to the year I needed to focus on things in my own life before blogging became a more full-time thing again. I have also just been enjoying being an auntie to my beautiful nephew Lukas - He's 6 months old now and growing up  so quick!

I've made so many new friends over the summer, and my partner is very supportive of anything I want to do in life, he's given me this kick up the butt to get back into this again as it's something I'm very passionate about. I still tried to keep as active on Instagram as I possibly could whilst taking a back seat from social media. BUT good news is... I'm back guys <3

As I'm sat writing this post for you all, I've already got a few new and exciting posts and reviews planned, over tonight and tomorrow afternoon I'll be taking all the pictures for the few posts I have planned. I honestly haven't decided what days of the week that i'll be putting out content but there will be two exciting posts this week!

I will also be letting you all know via Instagram when a new post is up or keeping you all up to date with new and exciting things, I now also have a canon 1300D which means pictures will be of better quality for you all!

Cannot wait for this new start, and I am excited to put some awesome content out for you ^_^

Piercing/tattoo update

Hey everyone so as pretty much everyone gets a tattoo or piercing these days I thought I'd do a little update on my new additions, this year I got my vertical labret pierced and two tattoos by the lovely Jodie, she's a body piercer at dollyrockers and a Junior tattooist for Black Dagger Tattoo at Oasis in Birmingham city centre!

Very professional and easy to talk to , I highly recommend Jodie!

Hello everyone, 
I'm happy to announce I finally found a way of getting back into my account, and I honestly didn't realise the amount of views and support from all over the world I have on here.. so I just want to thank every one of my readers/followers for all your support and keeping up to date with my posts, it honestly means a lot.

The last year of my life has been one huge rollercoaster to say the least I've been shat on by people but not no more!  I moved into my own place october 2016 which needed a lot of TLC, I found it pretty stressful it being my first home and not knowing what to expect, but things are finally coming together, one more trip to ikea and sort out flooring then everything is all finished!

On the 22/3/2017 My sister gave birth to her amazing beautiful little boy, Lukas.

I'm the proudest auntie in the world and I love him to bits!

I'm glad to be back and it honestly feels great, I worked so hard to get where I am now. Stupidly excited to be putting out more content for you all, as you all know It's mainly make-up and lush related posts, but i'm totally up for your ideas on other things you'd like me to post about, or if there's any particular products you'd like me to review..

Trips To Lush

Hello everyone , I hope you're all well!
As you probably all know - I am completely obsessed with Lush... but who isn't?!
What their company stands for, their ethics and hard work into making the products the most natural ways that they can I completely admire their efforts!
I don't think there has been a product that has let me down so far, so here is a post about some of my recent trips this year to Lush, I'll put all the info below and links to each product so it directs you straight to their website!

16th January Lush - Birmingham Store!

Twilight Bath Bomb £3.95

This bath bomb has lavender oils, anti-inflammatory protective benzoin resinoid and ylang ylang oil. It's a good bath bomb to use before bed, I have a very bad sleeping pattern and the lavender definitely helped me relax before getting into bed. I am completely obsessed with the scent of this bomb, it starts off releasing blue and pink colours with glitter and ends up turning your bath water a beautiful dark shimmering purple... Honestly makes you feel like a princess!

Also correct me if I'm wrong but the glitter lush use, is infact made from seaweed - which is good for your skin. I'd happily buy more Twilight bath bombs - what are your thoughts?!

Intergalactic £4.25

When I first seen Intergalactic in store I had to smell it straight away, such a beautiful and colourful bomb I couldn't resist.. The peppermint scent would normally put people off but I absolutely loved it, it contains peppermint oil, grapefruit oil, vetivert and cedarwood oil.

When I used this bath bomb I couldn't believe how stunning the colours were, especially with the gold glitter and popping candy, definitely one to re-purchase. The blue/purple/yellow/orange/pink colours were absolutely beautiful, your bath water turns a gorgeous sea blue with a load of glitter!

Blackberry Bath Bomb £3.50

Such a huge bath bomb for £3.50 it smelt so amazing, I can't give my views on this one for the time being as I gave it to my friend as I said she could have something from my collection!

I will hopefully be purchasing it again soon so keep your eyes peeled <3

Butterball Bath Bomb £2.75

I actually first seen about the butterball a good few years back , one of my favourite daily vlogger couples Ellie And Jared. Ellie herself would treat herself to lush or her husband Jared would surprise her (so sweet ) One of many products from Lush she sworn by was the butterball, so I finally gave that a go, it was a sinker but it still done the job and made my skin feel so smooth and soft, it has an amazing gentle scent. Cocoa butter and Ylang Ylang Oil. I would purchase this again!

LUSH HAUL

LUSH HAUL!

Hello everyone :) so as pretty much everyone loves Lush I thought it would be nice to show you some of the things I got at the end of December! I popped into Birmingham's store and although it was jammed full of people the staff still remained calm and friendly like always..

I'd spent around £30 and was thankful for staff always asking me if I needed any help, I'd asked if there was any sale stuff left which there wasn't but the lovely woman still went out back to see, little did I know she came out with a northern lights bath bomb and just because it was the tiniest bit chipped on the outside they wasn't selling it, so she kindly said you can just have it! Such a lovely gesture.

This is why I love lush, not only are their products out of this world but I've yet to come across a staff member which isn't so friendly. I am so impressed by every product from lush that I've tried now over the years and I'm super excited to purchase some more from their valentines day range.. I mean come on how can you not? Have you seen how adorable and cute they are xD

So on to the things I purchased, some I've used and some I haven't just yet so there will be a post following after this one to discuss in detail how I felt about ones I have used. Hope you enjoy!

Before I carry on though I did kindly receive two samples, a celestial moisturiser and herbalism cleanser, they both smell amazing and I'm excited to try them.

NYX STAND BIRMINGHAM

Super exciting update for you all :D so as you may know by now the big boots in Birmingham city centre opened a NYX stand on the 26th may ( I think ) 

I went there last week and I was blown away at the size of the stands - As the NYX stand in selfridges was smaller than a table..

NYX is so affordable and amazing quality products, it was so packed on the day I went so imagine what it wad like a few days before when it had opened? 
I only went in for their HD concealer - yet ended up spending £20 !

Definitely worth it either way, I've actually used the concealer and I'm blown away by how much it covers the black circles under my eyes :D what are your thoughts on the HD concealer wand?! 

My birthday is in 17 days so I know EXACTLY where I'll be going again ;) 
I highly recommend that if you go to Birmingham you visit the stand!
I'm currently in Stafford at the moment so once I'm home I review the products I purchased :) hope you all have a good week.

UNANI DERMO DEFENSE FACE MASK £11.36

So this dermo defense face mask is from the brand UNANI, I haven't really heard much about their brand but I did get one product last year in a birchbox which was a sample size.This product is full size and retails for £11.36 which is amazing for 100ml. I'm not sure on all of their products but I know this particular product isn't tested on animals, just for those of you who prefer make-up / skin care to not be tested on animals! I didn't bother taking a picture just based on the fact it's a clear gel, 

There isn't really a scent which is good for those who hate strong scented skin care, when you squeeze a bit out it does look very thick, but once you go to rub it into your skin it just turns into a thin watery consistency, which is a bonus as it will be easier to wash off. It is recommended for sensitive skin, and suggests you use it once or twice a week, all you do is evenly apply to your cleansed face, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse of with water, after use a toner all over your face.

I cannot wait to try this product out as I suffer from sensitive skin myself, I will be sure to let you guys know my thoughts.

GLOSSYBOX EYESHADOW IN GLOSSY MAUVE £7.10

As all you glossybox addicts know, we never really get actual glossybox products all that much, so when you do they are completely amazing and blow your mind! This eyeshadow is full size and costs £7.10 and 3g of product.  I got mine in the shade GLOSSY MAUVE, a beautiful pale blueish purple toned shadow with tiny, tiny flecs of silver shimmer, it's also a satin eye shadow. It blends easily and is super pigmented, this will look so good in the crease! Can't wait to create a make-up look with this.

ANGELE Paris Red Nail Lacquer £6.32

If you are like me and you're obsessed with collecting nail varnishes then you'll love this just as much as I do myself, you can't go wrong with a beautiful red polish! This is from the brand ANGELE Paris, it's 11ml and costs £6.32. Obviously it's a nail varnish so there's not much I can write about it haha! Although I've heard it's long wearing when used with a base coat and top coat. 

I will let you all know and do a blog post about how long wearing it really is :D x

Teeez Cosmetics OASIS GEM LIPSTICK £11.93

As my lipstick was broken, glossybox was kind enough to send me a replacement AND a dove 60 second treatment shot for damaged hair, so once again thank you for amazing customer service! xx

As many other people are so in love with the design of the packaging, I am also obsessed!

It's so unique and different to any other lipstick I've ever seen to be honest. Now I personally think this product is a big hit or miss, I love the packaging, love the colour and the satin finish / scent... but the big miss for me was no matter how light you do a swatch OR apply it to your lips it just instantly snaps in half, I'm so gutted that this is the second time it's happened, but I will still try make it work or use a lip brush. Has anyone else had this problem? Other than that I love it, it has a very sweet scent though just to warn people who had strong scented lip products.

                                         Madara CELLULAR REPAIR SERUM £38
                                                                                      

This Madara cellular repair serum is luxury size which you get 15ml of product,

I'm hoping it's amazing to ever pay £38 for the full size, the consistency is thin and a bit watery but rubs into your skin easily, the colour of the product is sort of like a really pale mint green.

It's supposed to help plump your skin while boosting hydration and radiance.

I am excited to try this out, it does have a slight smell, but I can't quite put a finger on what it smells like haha, so if you guys know please enlighten me :')
